one difficult but very awarding bridge to cross….

somehow i missed life in balinacon…
i missed waking up late at the smell of freshly cooked breakfast…
…the sound (but not the smell) of the pigs as we walk past their ‘banlatan’…
…the barangay hall where we used to work…
…the room we used to rest…
…the people we greet every now and then..
…the bridges we cross with great effort in reaching our poor but deserving clients…
…the hilly, muddy and forest paths…
…the simple and uncomplicated life…
above everything, i miss having a family..
how it felt to have nanay and tatay…
its true…only after something’s gone that u see its essence…
thank you for the Nagcarlan experience…
..for the great lessons that can only be learned in living with the people in the rural area…
…for the impact the people of Balinacon has made in us…for us to become better nurses…
…it was one unforgettable and worthy destination for us students of UPCN…
